  ar E Ranch is a 700 acre bowhunting-only ranch located 45 miles west of San Antonio, near Hondo, Texas, where the south Texas Brush Country meets the Hill Country. The ranch has a perimeter game-proof fence and is stocked with a variety of exotics that will be challenging and exciting to hunt. There is a large population of native wild hogs and the ranch has been stocked with South Texas Whitetail deer which are very abundant in this area. There are no livestock on the ranch competing with the wildlife or to get in your way during an important stalk. Hunting for hogs and exotics is available year round and in season on whitetail deer. The ranch is strictly managed and supplemental feed is available year round. Water sources are abundant. The ranch is stocked with enough game to attract and satisfy hunters of all levels of skill.

Lodging facilities consist of a bunkhouse that sleeps 8 hunters. The beds are twin beds. There is an adjoining kitchen facility with all modern appliances and a covered outdoor patio area. A BBQ pit and wood are also available. The second cabin is a guest house suitable for a family, smaller hunting parties or the hunter that may want to bring guests. All units have central air and heat and when you are not hunting you can relax and watch Direct TV. Lodging facilities are included in the hunt cost. Non-hunting guests are welcome for a $50/day fee. Hunters need to bring their bow, furnish all food items, meals, bed linens and towels. We also have a Walk-In cooler, a commercial ice-making machine, and a lighted skinning area.

SHEEP & WILD BOAR PACKAGE - $350 - A two day hunt that allows you to harvest one sheep and two hogs. (choose from Corsican, Texas Dall, Barbado, Hawaiian Black, Painted Desert, Catalina goats.)
EXOTIC & WILD BOAR PACKAGE - $500 - A two day hunt that allows you to harvest one exotic and two hogs. (Blackbuck, Aoudad, Fallow, Sika, Axis Deer).
TEXAS PACKAGE - $900 - A four day hunt that allows you the harvest one exotic (Blackbuck, Aoudad, Axis Fallow, or Sika Deer), one sheep (Corsican, Texas Dall, Barbado, Hawaiian Black, Painted Desert, or goats), and two hogs.
WHITETAIL DEER & WILD BOAR PACKAGE - Call for Price. A two day hunt that allows you to harvest one Whitetail buck and two hogs. All Whitetail bucks must have 8 or more points.
WHITETAIL DEER & EXOTIC PACKAGE - Call for Price. A four day hunt that allows you to harvest one Whitetail buck - 8 points or better, one Exotic (Blackbuck, Aoudad, Axis Fallow, or Sika Deer), and two hogs.
RED STAG DEER - $1500.00 - This is a 2 day hunt that allows you to harvest 1 Red Stag and 2 hogs.
RED STAG/EXOTIC PACKAGE - $2000.00 - This is a 4 day hunt that allows you to harvest 1 Red Stag, 1 Exotic and 1 hog.
BISON (BUFFALO) PACKAGE - $1500.00 - This is a 2 day hunt that allows you to harvest 1 Bison, and 2 hogs.
ORYX - $1500.00 - A two day hunt that allows you to harvest one Oryx (either sex) and two hogs.
SUPER EXOTIC - $2500.00 - A four day hunt that allows you to harvest one super exotic (Stag, Buffalo, Oryx) one exotic (Blackbuck, Axis, Aoudad, Sika or Fallow deer) one sheep (Corsican, Texas Dall, Barbado, Hawaiian Black, Painted Desert, or goats) and one hog.

Ranch Information
Feed route is run daily
Non-resident hunters can purchase a 5-day license to hunt and hogs and exotics, and a season license to hunt whitetail deer. See the Texas Parks & Wildlife Web Site for current license prices and information You may also call 1-800-791-1112. Licenses can be purchased locally in Hondo.
No firearms are allowed on the ranch at any time.
Booking Information
A 50% non-refundable and non-transferrable deposit, payable by cash, cashiers check, or money order is required to book your dates for a hunt. The deposit must be paid within 14 days of when you call to verbally book your hunt. The dates you will be hunting, the party the deposit is for, and the names and addresses of hunters should be included.
