Bar E Ranch Rules and Regulations GENERAL RULES Guest will report to management to sign all appropriate releases. If upgrading your package, you have to do it before taking the animal. If taking an additional animal, you have to pay before taking the animal. Please keep all gates opened or closed as found. When going or coming from the main gate please wait for it to close before driving away. No smoking allowed inside camp house. No exceptions! Smoking is permitted outside IF ALL butts are put into garbage cans after extinguished. Do not harvest any animals in velvet. They have to be hard horn. The fine for this is $2000.00. Hard horn is no velvet at all. Whitetail bucks have to be 8 points or better. The fine for a lesser buck is $2000.00. A point is one inch in length as per Pope and Young scoring system.There is a trophy fee of $500.00 on all whitetails. No spike horned exotics. They have to be forked. The fine for this is $2000.00. No female animals accept the bison, oryx, and aoudad. The fine for this is $2000.00. No stalking allowed during whitetail season Stalking is only allowed from 10:00AM to 2:00 PM. From January thur September if all persons hunting in the party agrees. Hunters if you draw blood this is considered a kill and you will be charged accordingly Do not shoot animals in the head. This is not an ethical shot nor is it fatal and you may be asked to leave the ranch No night hunting permitted. No children under the age of 10 can be left at camp unattended. No firearms will be allowed on the ranch, under no circumstances. Consumption of alcoholic beverages allowed in camp area only. This applies to hunters and no hunters. NO trimming of brush and/or trees, Never cross a game fence. The perimeter fence is all game fenced. If you get lost do not cross the fence. If you do so you will be considered and prosecuted as a poacher/trespasser. If you violate any ranch rules or Texas State Laws, you and your group will be removed from the ranch AFTER the Game Warden has been notified. No littering. Please place all trash in garbage cans. Do not remove skulls or artifacts from Bar E Ranch. Look at it, enjoy it, but leave it where you see it. No pets are allowed. Always be on the lookout when walking or hiking for rattlesnakes and other animals. This is a true wildlife area so we ask you respect every animal whose path you cross. Be safe! Hunters must carry proper hunting license and permits on person at all times. All personal vehicles will be parked at headquarters. A guide will escort you to and from blinds. All transportation to them will be provided. NO 4 WHEELERS or personal vehicles allowed in the hunting areas. Please have name on all arrows before arrival. No hunting or shooting allowed from vehicles. We do not allow the Draw Loc device to be used. Only a person with an UPPER LIMB DISABILITY may use a crossbow to hunt. An upper limb disability is a permanent loss of the use of fingers, hand, or arm in a manner that renders the person incapable of using lawful archery equipment. A physician’s statement certifying the extent of the disability is required. Report all hits and dead or wounded animals. Make every effort to find wounded animals; however do not enter another hunting area. Report to management and they will assist with tracking. Hunters will tag and bring into headquarters all kills. All kills will be removed from the ranch when the hunter leaves. If you harvest an animal, you must take the meat with you. We do not allow meat to be wasted. Do not wash animals in water troughs, ponds or animal drinking areas. BAR E RANCH IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY ACCIDENTS OR THIEF THAT OCCURS ON THE PROPERTY INCLUDING ANY ACCIDENTS INVOLVING ACCIDENTAL SHOOTINGS OR ACCIDENTS INVOLVING WILDLIFE.
